The Alumnae Association is the principal mechanism through which a network is created with ex-students and faculty. GLSGC Alumnae Association is the real ambassador of our institution for its wide publicity. Proper interaction with the alumni has proved greatly fruitful for the development of the institution. They provide us not only with the latest currents of their respective fields, and thereby the outside world, but also with their valuable suggestions and concrete help with regard to necessary changes and improvement for the better functioning of the institution. Some of them have outshined against all odds, such alumnus are our role models. The College considers the Alumnae as the inevitable and integral part of the institution and thus always invites them during our special felicitation ceremony of teachers, social cultural events and in most of the functions of the institution. We feel really proud and pleased to have such people occasionally amongst us.
